I give up.

More truthfully spoken, I surrender.

To what I really want to do on this site. Explore, meander, sometimes delve very very deeply. Persephone in her maiden time, knowing she would be taken by choice to the Underworld when the time was right.

And Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, clear-sighted, crone-graced, visionary mama, Divinely Feminine soul-guide for all who dare deep diving.

My self improvement journey has taken me to the place where I’ve got to begin making some of my own rules.

I can’t worry anymore that you’ll not understand, or be offended at how I talk about what I talk about. I surrender to this site not being a sound bite, or offering a (currently) marketable product other than myself as teacher and guide. I surrender to not having a well-defined niche, other than myself.

Sentences won’t always be minimal, written for short attention spans. Words will sometimes have more than one syllable. Paragraphs may be written for beauty and musicality, rather than hand-held devices and a world gone mad with accelerated energies and fear-based scurrying.

It’s a heart surrender. The reason being that I don’t seem to be able to do this any other way right now. And goodness knows, I have tried. Several times.

I’m starting over. For, like, the millionth time. With no expectations other than that I give myself permission to let you see my outrageously creative self.

Do you have any idea how terrifying that is?

Actually, I bet you do.

Finding balance, staying (heart) home, striving hard to find joy (yeah, I get the paradox), standing tall in all my messy, two-legged, Divinely driven woman self.

It’s about passion.  And power.

Mine. Yours. And what we choose to do with it, and about it.

Feels a little bit like Sarah Connor as she filled up the tank at that desolate gas station before heading off into the wildly mysterious present-future at the end of The Terminator.  Not to be overly dramatic, or anything … .

It’s about Saying Yes! to holding the fullness and richness of your power.  It’s about Mastering the Art of Reinvention.

Yep.  It’s way do-able.  Yep.  It’s fun.  Yes, there’s quite a community of us who are choosing ourselves.

What are the masks you wear so you can feel safe? When did safe ever mean good?

  • What’s the riskiest thing you’ve never done?
  • When was the last time you created something bigger than yourself?
  • Messier, more chaotic … more alive and interesting and edgy?
  • How and where do you sell yourself short, devaluing your work, and yourself?
  • Where do you stay small in your creative work?
  • Felt satisfied, content, peaceful?  Richly alive, making choices as a complete human being rather than for everyone else, including your own internal voices of “Do NOT get too big, or weird, or outside the box”?

Isn’t it time to break out of your own little box?

It’s engaged action, taking on the world in a whole new way: on behalf of our own sweet selves, on behalf of our children and our children’s children.  Because it matters.

I’m passionate about:

  • getting you launched into the world of deep living;
  • you feeling liberated from too-small, worn-out ideas;
  • helping you have it all.
